perfect imperfections...

i love the concept that we are perfect in our imperfections. i am good at seeing the beauty in the imperfections in objects, but not as good as being so loving towards the imperfections in people (myself in particular)...

i see the beauty in the new handmade cutting boards we are now carrying. they have lots of character and beautiful imperfections.

we have the boards in a various shapes and sizes. they are made of brazilian imbuia and handmade here in austin by michael brozgul of ed wood studios.

thank you michael!

  1. This post reminded me of the Japanese world view Wabi Sabi, which is finding beauty in, and seeing the beauty of one's imperfections. These wooden utensils are gorgeous!
